Delete Your Account
KMI Connect supports both customer (Room Decorator) accounts and KMI staff accounts. The deletion process is different for each — pick the section that matches your situation.
Customer Delete instantly inside the app
If you have a customer account (signed up with email + password or with Sign in with Apple), you can delete it from inside the app — no email is required and the deletion is immediate.
- Open KMI Connect on your device.
- Sign in if you aren't already.
- Tap Account & Privacy on the My Rooms screen — or open the Profile screen directly.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm the warning. Your account is deactivated immediately, your saved designs and inquiries are anonymized, and every signed-in device for your account is signed out.
After deletion you can no longer sign in with that email or Apple ID — to use KMI Connect again, create a new account.
Staff Email request
If you sign in with KMI company-issued credentials (employee, contractor, manager), account deletion is handled through KMI HR / administration to satisfy audit, payroll, attendance, and compliance retention.

What to include (staff requests only)
- Your full name
- Your KMI employee email or username used in the app
- Your department, unit, or site if known
- Your employee ID or phone number if it's used for KMI account verification
- A short confirmation that you want your staff app account deletion request to be processed
What is deleted
Customer accounts: profile (name, email, phone), saved decorator designs, favourite designs, and inquiry history are deactivated and anonymized. All device tokens for the account are revoked so any signed-in device is signed out immediately.
Staff accounts: after verification, KMI may deactivate app access, anonymize non-required profile details, and revoke active session tokens. Some operational records may be retained — see below.
What may be retained
For staff users, attendance records, check-in/check-out times, location coordinates, field-duty route history, geofence/customer visit records, attendance selfies, production submissions, stock/ERP transactions, and audit logs may be retained where needed for company operations, legal compliance, payroll, dispute handling, fraud prevention, or audit history.
For customer accounts, anonymized records of inquiries may be kept (without your name/contact details) so KMI can keep historical demand statistics. Your personally identifying information is removed.
Processing time
Customer in-app deletion: immediate.
Staff email requests: normally reviewed within 30 days. KMI may contact you to verify your identity before processing. Additional time may be needed if internal HR approval or legal retention review is required.
Important note for staff
Deleting or deactivating a staff app account may affect your access to KMI operational workflows. If you're a current employee or active authorized user, KMI may need manager or administrator approval before access is removed.
